Threadless headset

Searching amazon, I found some really cheap headsets including the FSA pig for 22 bucks. I was also looking at this- http://www.amazon.com/DiaTech-Threa...=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1177981969&sr=8-18 Could I get this headset to work with stock forks and bars? I also dont understand how a threadless headset works on threaded forks? Thanks for any guidance/ explanations.

threadless headsets dont work on threaded forks. i believe.

It works the same as a normal one just you use only the top huge nut thingy to tighten the headset. Then put on your bars and forks like normal

Well I did some reading and a few people said it will work on the pro model, but I still dont understand how. Guess I'll buy it and go from there.

threadless headsets work on threaded forks on both old a and pro models. just put the new cups in and new crown race on the fork...... then put the bearings in.......and compression cap on top with a nut from your stock headset and it works
