Threadless on threaded fork tutorial?

Im wayy confused about fitting a threadless headset onto a threaded fork,How?Which locknut do i use?How much do i tighten the locknut?Do i need a starnut?

okay first of all you didnt even spell it right and that search came up with no relevant results, why not stop being a dick and try actually helping him...

anyways to answer your question it is very simple. just install all the parts from your threadless headset (crown race, upper and lower bearings, upper and lower cups, compression ring and dust cap) then on top of the dustcap use the lockring that goes on the top (the thicker one that doesnt have the built in dustcap) then thread that down your fork ontot hte duscap and tighten it till all the play is removed from your headset. so no you do not need a starnut...

install the headset, put on your threaded fork, take the locknut without the race thing, its the taller one that has no crownrace on it, its a basic lock nut, screw it on untill your headset doesnt wobble but can spin freely and your ready to go, put your bars on normally you do not need anything else, starnuts are for threadless
