Threadless on Threaded fork.

I DID search and i did find some threads.

But, i did not find any threads that say how to actually do it.

So, im wondering how do you put a threadless headset on a threaded fork? Do you need to use the compression ring? How many locknuts and which locknuts, the one that goes on top on a threaded headset, or bottom?

I dont understand and i need to know how to do EVERY little bit. Thanks.

just use the top lock nut. you can use 2 locknuts if u want. thats all lol

Is that the plastic wedge that goes under the top cap? If so I did...

put everything on, cups bearings top cap (compression ring) crown race plastic sealer, everything.
then put a locknut on that shit.

The same damn way you put a threaded one on, except you don't need the bottom part, it slides down the fork.

in order:


LOCK NUT
DUST COVER
PINCH RING
TOP BEARING
TOP CUP
-headtube-
BOTTOM CUP
BOTTOM BEARING
CROWN RACE

Simple.

between the crown race and bottom cup/bearing theres a little plastic seal.

Not on mine there isnt. I got a sealed one though, so they probably dont have them.
