Maybe you should stop buying Proto parts?

That would solve this problem...
ill give it to you, you do make a good point. and trust me i have thought it to myself but i dont rele like any other parts
I would invest in a company besides Proto.

Every single product that Andrew puts out is talked up so much and every time that product fails.

Invest in either RAD or Inward.
Quit sucking up to John.

well try a differnt set of bars and if it fits it is not the fork with the problem. it would be the inwards.

I think I know the problem, when i got my Inward threadless forks my Wee bars wouldnt fit over them and I asked a question just like this and Madis explained that since they were some of the first ones made the inner diameter of the bars were too big and needed to be used with either an SCS or a threaded fork but it cant be used with an ICS.
i have a feeling hes going to have to use the scs but he just got a tsi deck, ics, and a striker fork and has no money

See if there's anything on the fork, like a rough spot or something and sand that down. If not, just sand down the inside of the bars a bit. Also, how can you drill holes for a Buff stem crooked? As long as the bolts fit there shouldn't be a problem.
andrew drill the holes on the steering column wrong and i told him about it and he wouldnt replace it

i mean ber as in what alex said like a raised edge on the top of the fork
well i thot something like that was the problem but the top of the fork was filed down to give it a slanted edge to put into bars easier, so there is no bad edge on the steertube

my cousin just got a 110 threadless striker fork and it seems the steertube is too thick for bars. once the top of the steertube reaches about 1 cm from the hole on the top of the notch on his inward one-pieces, it stops.

Tharrs your problem.
Try cutting up the slit on the inward bars more. I had this problem with my slayers, i had a huge fork which is why i have a larger slit on my bars

I guess personal experience doesn't mean anything these days now does it?

well guys we solved the problem by honing out the inside of the bars and putting a 1/4" headset spacer on the fork tube

starnut in the forks ?
what in gods name would that have to do with bars going over the fork steer tube.
and i sure hope you were using a rubber mallot to hammer the bars not a real hammer.

i used a hammer but i put a block of wood on top first so it didnt damage the bars

Nah, all threadless forks have 1.125" outer diameter steerertube, it is just impossible to have a bigger diameter if the fork fits through all the headset parts. Right?

You should contact the person/company who made the bars.

I was about to say the same thing.
