Three-Piece Bars

I'm trying to see if there's an interest in this type of bar design. The Famous SR BUFF Bars were extremely popular in their time, but it seems like the concept has gotten less popular.

Would you like to see more three-piece handlebars on the market?

I think they're wonderful because you have the option to change sizes without buying whole new bars. I'm not particularly fond of how they look, but you can also replace a piece without replacing the whole bars if you break them unlike other bars. I really didn't like the look of the sort of modified half knuckle connecting piece thing I saw recently, though. Would like to see the more classic look. But overall, I like them.

Thanks for the feedback, but I'm not asking about the Proto ones specifically. I want some opinons the concept of three-piece bars in general.

i rode them for a long ass time and i though they were great cause you can change the backsweep whenever. also if you land super hard on it the bars will just rotate out of place instead of bend so it was kinda like shock absorbing if you mess up

I'd rock them as long as they aren't ridiculously expensive. That was always the problem with them in the first place. People don't realize that they're such a great investment.

The traditional style stem was always a bitch for me to hit my knees/hands on the bolts. Besides that, I liked them.

i used to have red sz buffs but i sold em, i really liked how they looked and barspun

i still use 3 piece mgp bars with 2 single clamps, one top and bottom. ill never go back to 1 piece thanks to adjustability and easy to replace or upgrade parts

Aren't tsi scepters 2 piece? This is the style I'd prefer if I was going to move down that rode. But yeah interchangeable bars is a great thing to be able to have

my friend had TSI scepter bars, they were super light. and a lot of backsweep. no idea if they still sell them though. but if you want 3 piece bars but not very heavy ones ( i dont think it really matters) but go try to find sceptors.

they used to be in 3 pieces and adjusted in height and came 26 high on the very first welded headtube model mgp
