Threshold & noseblunts

So I just got my Threshold and I love it. It feels awesome. But when I was trying to do noseblunts on a ledge at my skatepark (concrete). it seemed since the space between the headtube and wheel is bigger, the deck would just catch on the concrete instead of sliding across the coping and stick instantly.
Anyone else experiencing this?
