Lol, if you want a 2 pound scooter, just buy one of the carbon fiber razors. Ti scoot would probably last longer though.

With bikes, everybody laughs at ti parts unless they are ti axles and you ride pegless, or ti spindles for your cranks.
Any parts like the bars or frame that have a lot of pressure put onto them, ti is basically worthless.
It has the best strength to weight ratio yes, but chromoly is not too far behind it, and chromoly is a much better choice for bars.
Unless you bought like, 0.1"-ish thick titanium, which would be madd expensive, don't even bother.
And don't get me started on welding ti.
*When you're talking about chromo in scooter bars, the welding can impact how long they take to start to bend.
Long story short you may as well buy copper tubing.
Also, I'll mollywhop you if you make Ti bars. Good enough reasons not to?

No its not.... Its weaker than chromoly and heavier than aluminum.Its relatively light and pretty strong, but NOT as strong as steel or steel alloys such as chromoly. I remember madis talking about psi's and strength and weaknesses and weight one day,. Its just pretty light for its strength, but its not like the godly better than anything metal.
