to all you vegas users

im trying to render one of my projects and it keeps like fucking up like when it goes to play my video after rendering the video is only 1sec long and theres nothing? this is very frustrating. anyone know why its doing that?

i know nothing about vegas, and i dont really know exactly whats going on, but i guess it couldnt hurt just to mention that in premiere, theres a yellow bar at the top of the timeline that you can drag around to select how much of the timeline you want rendered, maybe in vegas theres something like that and you have it moved towards the beginning so its only rendering that much?

hmm now that you mention that i think that might have been the case because im new to vegas and i remember a lil bar thingy got pulled around accidentaly when i was playing with it so who knows.

you have to highlight everything you want rendered when you go to render, and choose render highlighted.

you should probably use 3mbps , the file size is massive, but you can compress it.

either make sure whole thing is selected or nothing is selected
