Are you retarded? Baby SCS with a shim makes no sense unless you're riding stupidly thin bars which no one makes?
Anyway, 29 votes to 5 at the time of this comment.

I don't even think the tubing could be that much more expensive. And I know the whole "slit = weak spot blah blah tomk faceplant" argument, but ~30/5 people would prefer to faceplant their HIC bars instead of buying normal sized bars. That's 6 people buying HIC slaYers to every 1 buying SCS/normal bars.

HIC isn't as good as SCS in eliminating stress points, but having it as an available option is always good for the consumer base!

Oh buff, if someone breaks their bars at the slit, they could buy an SCS instead of buying new bars. Guess what? you just made another 70 bucks. Wham!

no, im not retarted. i ment making it just like the normal scs. The baby scs could fit 1 1/4 bars and 1 3/8 ( i think thats standard and oversized) if not then ake the baby fit standard and oversized

Andrew doesn't see a need for HIC. He and I share the same idea that SCS is more effective and stronger (the latter point is true, the first is opinion). Maybe somewhere down the road there's a chance it will happen, but don't wait.

The full size SCS is better, it fits everything and requires no cutting of forks.

Steadman, I realize that the SCS is the best hands down compression, seeing as it eliminates slits and what not, however, HIC is the current trend, there would be no harm in making a small batch of HIC slaYers to see if they sell, and possibly releasing more if they sell well enough. I'm just sayin'.

I see jordan jasa lurking on this, chime in whenever ya want to dood!

It would take a bit of an effort to make them though. Slayers would have to have a good bit of changes made to accommodate a bigger steerer and we'd have to get the bigger tubing as well. In just not in the cards right now. Maybe once things settle down and Andrew can mess around with different ideas, but not now when we can't even keep the shelves close to stocked.

Costs more, in essence SCS + bars can run you up to $150 alone. Bars + clamp eliminates ~30-50 bucks depending on what you buy.

For instance, the bars and clamp i'm running totalled $80 all together, but for example phoenix suicides + baby scs = ~$155 ?

With HIC the compression is normally included with the bars as well. and if not lucky and a few others sell HIC kits for cheap

u dont have to make a bigger steering tube u could always just taper the ones that are already made like how the used to make oversized crows
