Token headsets help

I recently bought 1 and Ive tried everything to make it tight with my bars and forks (running threaded) my headset is sealed. the nut is tight enough any tighter it doesn't spin. it seems like the top seal wobbles is this something to do with the headset not fitting or something i'm doing wrong.

of course i read around apprently its the threaded forks. but i dunno any other suggestions

zane- yep, and nobet, chances are it is the threads from the fork. i guess, they are made for threadless

yeah i had one with threadless fork seemed to work. is it a Token notch AT headset?
sold it to my friend and he runs threaded it but it didnt work only the buttom bit worked. you could try to take it to a scooter or bike shop for them to check it.

what deck you running and what forks? your forks may not have enough thread to tighten into the headset. or get a small headset spacer and try that, headset spacers work a treat.

Token Notch Headsets

To make a Token headset work on both threaded and unthreaded forks the headset requires modification. We were the first store to use them on scooters and have been modifying these headsets and fitting them to scooters for over 2 and a half years now. Without the modification the headsets will always have play.
The silver tapered compression band has to be modified. Remove the O ring and outer rubber dust seal then put two hacksaw cuts side by side on one side of the compression band. Refit the O ring and dust seal and the head set will now preload without having to be so tight that the bearings are destroyed.
