They look really good. I'm really liking the solid crossbar idea. I just have one idea, which you may want to look into in the future. You said they have built in bar ends because they have the solid crossbar, but over time, the edges will become sharp and start to fray outwards like a normal aluminum crossbar. An idea I had is this: Mill down the edges to about 3/4" or so, that way there is a piece extending outwards slightly which will protect the grips part of the crossbar better. Just a thought. But the current design still seems really legit. Can't wait to see them in person.

thanks michael. and you're right, the ends of the bars do get a little beaten up. i'll ask my machinist how much that would be to just mill the ends off like that.. thanks for the suggestion!

^ Kinda. I was thinking more of a 90 degree angle. I'm making bar extensions at the moment, and that is how I am making this, with the cut-out integrated bar-ends.
 
i understand what your sayinjg but gettin your gripon and off would suck.. on wouldnt be too bad but how would u get it out.. most people dont have and air compressor like me i use water to get off grips
