Well I am just saying that most great drummers look up to these guys and Niel Peart is just my idol because of his variety of beats and his selection of playing. He is so complex in his solos and if you search niel peart drum solo on youtube you will see what I mean. And look at his live and recorded stuff with Rush its amazing to say the least and hewrites all the lyrics for rush as well so he is a genius. Im reading some of his books and there prety good. Hes a nice guy to, I met him at PNC artscenter because my uncle used to be a employee of PNC and he was the venue backstage manager. Rush is one of the best rock bands because Geddy Lee is a amazing Bass and keyboard player and Alex Lifeson is a exceptional guitarist. But back to topic Niel Peart is my idol and I know Nate Grant idolises him as well.

i heard neil peart was like a dick and never gave autographs or let people meet him backstage. thats juts what i heard so idk if its true or not

he used to be when I was cocky but hes melloed out now. Im 13 so hes not gonna be a jerk anyway.
If you think about it Rush is one of the many best because of there musicians and music I know I said this already but they really are.
