Tricks you cant seem to get.

downside whips......they just annoy the hell out of me because they're an easy trick.....i know. I tried them a few times but i just overwhip it.

i have been wanting to learn briflips, but im not sure exactly how to spin them. i've watched several vids, and it's only confused me.

i ride regular, and when i try them i prefer kicking the deck with my left foot, putting my right arm forward(same as turning the bars left), and spinning the scoot over my right side/shoulder.

is this right?

yeah that seems right
just keep practicing wiht your hands then try if off a quarter

Tommy
for me the key to learning downside whips was to catch the whip.
or just dont jump high at all..

Ben
with 360s just spin and commit
and with tailwhips, kick the deck and use your wrists.

Brian, do you type with one hand and both eyes closed..? Jk i love you beast.

Anyways, Hang 5s are bugging me, im not patient enough to learn them, i cant get farther than like..8 feet..
Ok, I don't know if this applies to everyone or not, but when I do them I find it helps to lean a tiny bit forward into your balance point and push DOWN on the bars. Think push-ups when you're doing them and just try and hold it in the "push-up position" lol and then the balancing with your leg will pretty much come naturally with a little practice. But when I do it I push down on the bars fairly hard because I don't change my foot position when I do hang fives, I just keep it at the back of the deck where I usually have it, so if you do it with your foot on the foldy or right behind it (not the best way imo because it makes it harder to jump into them) you barely have to lean forward much, just concentrate on pushing down on the bars and you're set.

commit. and work on tailwhip catches till you get them really good. double catches will come naturally then if you have enough air..

just watch the deck and stick your foot out. learn to catch them one footed then bring them in first. then learn to catch them without/ barely moving your feet

I hope you're joking because if you weren't then I'd have to punch you..

-manny 180's out is practice. f/s 180's out of manuals are the easiest, b/s looks better but is slightly harder to pull off.
-front scooter flips flyout, ehh I have the same thing with front bris, they go all over the place if i do them flyout, but I can land em 1 footed into banks n stuff.
-full cabs I hate them too, unless it's the pivot to manual to 180 type, those are easy as fuck.

manny 180s- you gotta like kinda carve? when you're first learning them. maybe it'll help if you spin a fs 180 too. when your doing the 180 kinda tuck your bars into your lap, and actually jump the opposite direction of the spin.

watch pirate alex vids.
