so i have stripped my brake bolt. whenever i try to get it off the nut just spins on the screw, doesnt tighten or loosen so i obviously cant get it off. how would you suggest going about doing this? i have new bolts, i just dont know how to get the old ones out, any help is appreciated

Try to take the nut off by screwing it anti clockwise as well as pulling it from the bolt, most of the time works for me

If this doesn't work i guess you'll have to find a way to cut the bolt off

ok ill give that a try but i dont quite understand, you want me to just try and take it off while pulling up? if so ive tried that and it did not work, do you have any ideas on how i could cut it off?

I mean like, try unscrewing the bolt/nut as well as pulling them apart, but idk if that's sure to work

Not sure about how to cut it, maybe push the bolt so it pops out the top of the deck ( if you can) and cut the bolt head off from there, I think there's other ways though

If you can some how get the bolt to not spin I would just recommend drilling the head of it off.

sorry, just wanna be sure im doing the right thing before i do it, but you think i should get a drill and a drill bit and just drill through the top where the allen key hole is? wouldnt that go through the deck hole and fuck it up

Just drill it out, first with a thin drill, then a thicker one & finally one where the bolthead is nearly gone. then just pull on the bottom of it & it'll be fine
