are the decks really THAT good? to be that much money they would wanna be

Personally I think they are. No other deck offers up to 5 inches wide with interchangeable widths. If you break it I'm pretty sure it will get replaced.
Added strength. Plus if you think hard enough the possibilities of it are endless
