TSI One Piece Deck?

its only going to cost 100$, it will be released in three months. and i do know it will be the best deck. matt used to be the guy that made this shit http://machinejunky.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Big-Wheel-Machinery-HDR.jpg

he has spend the past year watching how different deck styles perform and what the RIDERS want. ive seen the design and guys is fucking crazy, ive never seen anything like it.
its seriously amazing.
and trust me its no where near a rip off of any deck, its completely original and indestructible.

and for those critics out there keep this in mind. 1 they where the FIRST one piece deck on the market. and 2 phoenix may be the most popular deck but guys, tom floyd got the idea and design of the deck from the original tsi's ;)

1. Congratulations. How long are you gonna keep milking that cow. I'm pretty sure we know and have known it was the first 1 piece deck. Also, what exactly does being the very first have to do with anything other than being first? They might have more experience with the scooter community but that doesn't mean their designs are the best. I'm not saying their a bad company either it's just that someone could come along that has more experience in design and engineering and create a deck that blows every other deck away.

2. If Tom Floyd is producing the most popular deck then he is obviously doing something right. The way I see it, that gives him no reason to change the design of the Phoenix.

Oh and care to verify that Tom copied TSI's original design? Give us some blueprints. Also, If I remember correctly when I first met Matt (before you did Vaughn and I can guarantee that) he said that he did in fact want to extrude the original TSIs. However, due to there rough start, investor bailing on them, and low budget it restricted them from doing so. Although Phoenix decks share the similarity of extrusion with TSI's original design that does not mean that Tom copied TSI's design. Razor established extrusion of decks long before any aftermarket company did.

I can't wait to see this deck. I really think it'll sell at $100. That's a very nice price for a quality deck. Do you think we could get a the angle of the headtube? I agree, TSI is definately the best deck on the market.

go on trw they did an interview with tom floyd and he straight up says he saw the tsi decks at the portland action expo and used the design to make his deck.

and whats with you saying tom is better at engineering? have you seen what matts previous job was? he made these : http://machinejunky.com/wp-content/u...hinery-HDR.jpg

Interestingly enough I was at the Portland Action Expo 2 of the 3 days they were there riding for them. Anyways, there is a difference between using a design to reference off of and copying it out right. When I look at a Phoenix deck it bares little to no resemblance at all of a TSI. And not once did I say Tom is a better engineer.

maybe not in that context but you have belittled matts abilitie to engineer a performance deck.

and phoenixes do resemble tsi's almost exactly. take of the weird ass curved sides and the flat bottom and what do you have. a old tsi without a deck plate.

edit: i should say integrated deck plate.

Now you're just dissecting it. If it comes to that in terms of parts resembling each other then TSI copied Razor because the deck plate has concave. Razor Pros have concave. Clearly a cleverly disguised copied idea. Right?

nope kc corning was the one who told razor to put concave on there decks, and that was while he was starting trick scooters with matt, and actually it was matts idea for the concave.

they do but its not real concave. it more like three flat lines like \_/ but thats another thing about the new tsi deck it will have real 5 degree concave where its round and not like < that
