I waz wondering if i can use am ICS system on the forks.....but one of my friends waz saying that u can use an ICS, but u have to get the REDNECK ICS on instead from inward scooters..............Plz help me out! :)

I wanted to go ICS with my thom cat but I heard the welds get in the way of the cap. It also comes with and oversized starnut installed for SCS or HIC (or at least mine did.) I would suggest going with HIC like I did but you need oversized 1 3/8" bars (Like RADS.) Or if you have the money get brass knuckles as SCS.

yay i know but one of my friends said that the redneck compression system should work, and what an HIC, and do they work that same as ICS!?

I don't know what the difference is between regular ICS and Red Neck ICS is. But, HIC is pretty nice. You need: threadless fork, oversized 1 3/8" bars, threadless headset, starnut, and HIC shim. You have the starnut in the forktube about 1/2" down, you put your headset on and put the fork though the headtube. Then, take the HIC shim that you get from RAD or make your own, and slide it over your fork tube. Then stick on the top cap for HIC over the forktube. I suggest using the one you get with your headset. Put the compression bolt in, tighten, and put bars on and clamp it together. Then Enjoy.

Redneck ICS works with every fork available. It's just a bit more of a hassle? Than other compression systems

ICS is worthless. It's an obsolete compression system. I don't see why you would waste your time when your looking at two of the most modern and most effective compression systems to date.
