TSI Thom Cat Review

I bought the TSI thom cat fork and I have been riding for about a month and a half.

Specs:
Fits 100mm and 110mm wheels**
4130 Chromoly, tig welded
mine was 19.1 ounces
7.5mm offset with 5* rake
1 1/8 inch fork tube
includes starnut

**- had problems

The first thing that I noticed was that they had a larger starnut that was not capable with HIC. It was a 5/16 star nut. I ended up pushing it down and installing a new starnut above the original. I like how TSI gives you the choice to stick the tsi sticker on incase you do want to by just giving you the sticker. The fork runs very nice and I love the 7.5mm offset, it feels soo nice. Another problem I had though is that the wheel would not fit a 110 wheel. The wheel would scrape on the forktube which grinded down the sides of my wheel. I ended up just using a warn down wheel but I love having a large wheel in the front. Also, the fork is kinda heavy but you get used to it. The overall design is very attractive and looks great with the black powder coat finish. I also like how the bolt threads directly into the fork legs with a metric 6 allen (No more needing to have 2 allens). This fork can use hardline pegs (ty mitchell) but that is the only peg known so far. Overall I give this fork a 8 out of 10.

Pros:
Feels Great
Looks Great
Very strong
No more using 2 allens and stripping the bolt

Cons:
Some productive errors
Hard to use with pegs
