TSI Threshold Deck

the_SD_local

I own SR.
people need to start talking about the wheelbase length of a deck rather than the footplate length. footplate length has very little to do with how a deck feels to ride, i guess if you have massive feet you need the size, but wheelbase length is what changes the way it rides.
Props to you for understanding that and props to TSI on the new deck.

Yes, but if the neck on the TSI is longer and the wheelbase is the same as say, a v2i, the distance from your bars to the brake(Where you feet will be) is the same. The wheelbase on the 20" Threshold is exactly the same as a v2i, but it feels even longer because of the steeper angle.

The HTA is the same on v2i's and the new TSI, it's the downtube angle that's steeper on the TSI.

Personally I like the HTA on my Flowmaster better than on my v2i, I think 83 degrees is the shiiit.

Threshold + 81.5 or whatever angle would be nice.
Though I'd modify it for a rear peg.

if you get the deck and still feel the need for a rear peg, just modify it. you wont need a peg on the back tho, im telling you.

How will I be able to get one of these in Australia? And is black the only colour or will there be a raw/silver option?

On the site it says 20" long and 82.5 degree headtube angle, what happened to my 20.6" and 83 degree deck?
