Info wise: Don't quote me on thisbut I do believe the reason the headtubes are concaved is because of how Hep likes to position his feet on the deck. I think.

Nah it's a strength thing Matt said he learned to never weld across a straight plane or something like that because it's more prone to cracking

good review it really is the best deck and i agree with the strength compared to the reventon. Ive rode mine pretty hard almost everyday for the month and a half i had it and no problems yet. The Threshold is a blessing.

this is the reason we used this tubing again. also, its really strong.

yeah the concave on the headtube definitely adds strength to the deck, I tricked a 16 set on my threshold and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. The threshold is the strongest deck I've ever ridden and it grinds like a fuckin DREAM.
