well to answer all your questions
1. griptape is kinda hard cause of the concave, if you just throw it on there will be air bubbles where the concave starts but its not really a biggie.
2. the difference is that the deck plate has more concave and is tapered, it starts at 4.0 wide then in the middle 4.5 and at the back 5.0
3. because of the width at the back it makes catching tail whips, bri's, or anything where your feet leave the deck easier.
and because of the width at the back 50 50's are heeps easier
griptape is the easiest part of putting a scooter together
well first off the concave isnt like ridiculous. when you step on youl feel it but its not like " wtf my foot is only touching the sides" XD
and yah i thought it was going to be weird but it acually makes tailwhips easier. i cant exactly explain it it just whips faster and catches better
I see where your coming from on the review, no offense, but you're a 100% TSI fanboy. Like you dont have to die over everything tsi makes. I dont think they should waste time over deck plates in varying shapes and colors or what not.
they should make more forks types and one piece bars.
seriously if you think that 3 degrees of concave will help u improve ur catches, ur retarded. no offense again. concave is useless on scooters. it only is useful on longboards and somewhat on skateboards.

come to oregon and you can ride mine
okay first you haven't tried the deck plate so you cant say anything about it,
it does make a difference so don't call me retarded when YOU haven't even tried it.
second im not the tsi fan boy, i used to love madd gear and thought they where best. but Ive grown to know tsi and love what they do for our sport,
i spend alot of my time there and help in the shop alot so i know what im talking about.
Ive ridden many decks such as various phoenixes, madd nitros, ambush, ultra pro, and lucky. so this is not just me sucking up its cold hard FACTS.
everyone who rode my scooter told me the first thing they noticed where tail whips caught easier so its not just my opinion. and that was one of the main ideas behind the concave was catching the deck.
and i donlt DIE over everything tsi makes, when i get products for them i made an agreement that i will make a review and review it honestly.
and the different shapes and sizes? you say they are wasting time? so a pro who has ridden only pro models wants a tsi but wait making a 4.0 deck plate is a waste of time psshh hes fucked.
the different sizes and shapes are all custom fit for different riding styles. they are not just for looks. the different deck plates are made so riders can have variety, and personalization in their scooter so it works best for them.
don't bother making any more remarks cause so far all i hear is a kid who maybe rides good and knows what he rides but is ignorant to the endless possibilities of the scooter
tsi thinks about the rider not the money.
