Ultra Pro Headset Problems

Ok, heres the deal. I just recently got an ultra pro deck. I assembled the entire thing and waited to tune the headset last. I came to have the problem of the top threaded race not moving with the fork. So when i spin my bars, they loosen and tighten. There isnt any faults in the cups, bearings, or races, my forks arent bent, and ive even tried 3 differents headsets and forks. Last but not least everythings is greased as well, ive been at this for a day and im frustrated. Give me some advice if you have any.

yea im not bad myself. ive just tried everything and its blowing my mind why it wont work. They are mass produced so i feel like its no the frame itself. Ive never heard of this problem before. Bottom line is. . .i feel like i shouldnt have bought a razor.

If you know how to put headsets on and you've tried different ones, it sounds like the headtube on the Ultra Pro might be cut wrong, like not straight.

Take it to a bike shop if you haven't already and use a legit headset press so you can be sure they're in straight.

I know your problem, nothing is wrong! I am not trying to be a jerk, but mine does the same thing and after about 30 minutes I just use my hand to tighten it again. Nothing is wrong with Ultra Pro's it's just how they are. :)

Thanks for all the posts guys. The cups came in the deck already from inward, they look straight but im gonna go to a shop today and try a headset press.
