nah, I dont ride newport much and if I do I'm usually on a bike
I ride mostly street and flat
And Yea I dont shop at ECX much esp. cuz of the high prices, but altleast they're trying to push scootering

The neck/deck junction looks like it'll be alright (cause it's welded at both layers of the deck) but I think the whole thing will be pretty strong if you reinforce it with a bolt going through the front/neck part (inside the deck). But once you do that the headtube will probably rip off the neck.
