I just got all the shit for my scooter today and of course, as the first thing, I wanted to collect my scooter. First problem was to get in the back wheel. that took ages, but finally, I got it fixed. Then... I couldn't get in the front wheel. That took ages to.
Then last and most important thing, which isn't fixed yet, is to get my bars over my fork. I know there's know compression in the fork, but as far as I discovered, there's no need for it.

I miss so tiny bit, that it's unbelievable, but I still need to get it totally done. I've now been trying now for 3 and a half hours, but the last part is the hardest.

So now, I'm getting all sweatty, and asking you all for your help.
For me, it seams like District isn't made for fitting. I know that it's not supposed to fit, "just like that", but this seems way to hard. Did you have the same problem?
Final question: can you help me?

I heard about it being hard to fit your bars over, look around on TRW or something cause i know I saw directions for it. How was it hard to get the back wheel in,im thinking about buying a District deck but I'm not sure because of problems like this.

The wheel was just to big to fit. But I just used a long time, hammering on the wheel, so it could get in. I would always recommend a District. It may be hard to set it all up, and if you choose to buy one, you'll use a long time setting it up. But... When you fixed everything and tried to ride it, you don't want to ride any other thing in your life. I tried Peaslys District in Paris, and it's simply SEX.

ill help you more, to start i can not beleave international sellers like online webstores have not noticed this & mailed every ones products from the boxs they came in

Australian riders have been infoamed of these minor tolorence issues, its easy to fix, the forks need to be sanded down to fit into sum bars even districts SOA has machined the tubes today ready for clients to fit & go, the bars need to be sanded the inside of the tube, on district & sum threadless forks, Razor,Micro,Madd forks they fit directly with out sanding

The headtube on the decks needs to be sanded by hand just so the 2 layers of paint is removed to fit headsets in correct, USE THE CORRECT TOOLS NOT A HAMMER, MALLET ALSO NOT RECOMMENED

Used your local bmx shop they have the tool or a bench vice so they aline when inserted

The FORKS DO NOT WORK WITH SCS, they can BUT District DOESNT WANT YOU TO DO THIS, There ICS Compatible like advertised & come with a mega long hex/Allen key for the job, THAT WELDED CAP Is to Prevent you using STAR NUTS possible pulling the 2 Pc fork APART, i beleave district have there own compression

Sum spacers for the back wheel need sanding on the smaller side where fits into the brake Bracket, The district axles arnt very good on the first batch we suggest used a 6mm cap bolt like peg sets use or foldy bolts

I will link you all to the PDF files on district fitting soon, it is on the skaterhq website

i myself am making a video tonight on how to fit district together

All orders we send & sell we sand & make the parts fit correct so when it arrives to you its good to go, SOA & SHQ Australia's district retailers both have done this also didnt preorder them incase of these issues

Guys its a first release batch goods sum things like this happen, Recent Australian brand have 3 goes before they got there quality ok

yeah would be if your oversea's & the retailers are not really checking stuff

apart from that first batch product give it a break, cause this is the first thread more indeed to come

Australia doesnt sell to Riders who will have problems like this, we also try asure you get it ready to fit easy as, most districts here are being sold completes for younger riders who are not tech with the sport in knowledge

Thanks a lot man. I'll try to warm it up somehow and see if I can get the bars over. The problem is, that I'm not able to get the bars of again. So I must go the easiest way on the fork... down.

maybe you check the bars and see if theres a slit and if its not that big then get a hacksaw and make it bigger

After 45 minutes at the car mechanic, it worked out. He hammered a lot, but he had to make a pretty long slit in the bars. I'll just ride it as long as it works.

If scs doesn't work for the forks is it compadible with the decks? Cuz I got a deck and I have scs and I don't wanna change compression systems
