& SCS works fine on the decks its just District forks not want you to use SCS, well not star nuts so yeah No SCS on district forks

SCS on other threadless forks will be fine, how ever sum forks hit the headtube u need sand this, my old sr style forks i made did so i use SOA reinforced forks like ultra's & mgp for now till i get star nuts

You can use a District fork with SCS, you just have to trim the top where they have their pitiful excuse for a compression system.

Having a fork that prevents you from putting a star nut in, and forces you to use a ridiculous tool, that's silly.

the district fork is designed to run the star nut in the bars, its really a safer design then running the star nut in the fork. The welded in cap being that high up is an issue that should be resolved on future forks but does work well if you have the proper wrench and run a shorter bolt into the star nut.

How come they made them incompatible with the SCS? Thats total bullshit. Were not moving away from SCSs, the new phoenix one is proof of that. Its all fine and good to include an alternate compression system, but at least give riders the choice.

bullshit. new parts should be ready to ride and a easy install. you shouldnt need to sand a brand new part. soooo fucking gay

yo . ummm i was one of first in aus to get the district 4 they came out on the market . (Thanks to bill):) . - he said the two back spacers for the wheel you will have to file a bit . ---- you should hve two little spacer rings for forks (sand wheel area inside forks ). -----and if u have a drill, get a big drill bit (fat) wrap grip tap around it nd turn it on, use it on the inside of the bars ... ,,,and then sand fork tube . ===hopefully you will understand me . if need help pm me!!!

they want your to us ics cause it pulls the forks together and there so weak if you use scs it could pull them apart

why cause it isnt SCS compatible
And because it isn't HIC compatible. Why would you want a part that requires you to use a strange tool that is hard (if not impossible) to come across? ICS is pretty bad as is, and the District managed to make it worse.

i Hate star nuts, So does most of the aussie riders ,u can use district forks with a top cap of the scs & a lock nut or Hic the same way

Star nuts are not the future so i dont beleave we should be calling it the standard, no aussie rider ive met has had a smooth ride with no problems when using SCS & Star nuts or Hic the same thing also with ICS
