v3 wees problem

ever since i got them i had to thread on my bars.
now im upgrading to thread less and im wondering if the id was made too small and fi would even be able to get the bars on thread less forks.

does anyone else with v3 wees have to thread on your bars to forks or any problems with getting threadless to fit?

nope, It slid on really smooth.
But not on my threaded sr fork. I had to file it down and make my own compression system cause the locknut didnt fit either.

no dont file the fork u could always stretch the bars by like putting a crow bar in them and pull the bottom out a little bit. there probably to tight cuz u tightened them really tight for a long time and maybe ur fork was a little tiny to start and after time it could have made the bars like smaller but if u strech them back out they should be fine, doesnt hurt to try anyways

no. i got them new two months ago.
brand new first time i put them on i had to thread them on.
now whenever i put on a fork the threads are instantly destroyed and the only way to get it off is if the fork breaks or cutting the fork nut off

im thinking they wont fit since stock forks wont fit unless i thread them on

just file the threads a bit down. but when you have your threadless fork, It should fit without any problems. If so, let madis know and maybe he can work it out for you or something.

i guess they only need threading on because otherwise they would catch on the threads, so when you go threadless there'll be nothing to catch on and should slide on smooth, I THINK??
