vertx smx/baby scs problem

hey guys i just got a vertx smx and the baby scs wont fit onto the fork ive tried stretching it and everything..i was thinking about sanding the top of the fork and inside of the baby..what do you think i should do?

SAnd the fork because Vertx sometimes makes there forks a tad beefier so just sand it another person on here ha that same problem
