how are they bad for smith grinds? im thinking about buying one and i dont want them to mess me up on smiths.

But that is because more people ride those forks, it's the same thing with vertx decks, nobody has broken one because there are very few people that ride them.

bro, heaps of people in Australia ( and the rest of the world) ride these forks, like me. only a couple have been broken, and also i have seen heaps of broken phoenix forks

Smx are some of my favourite fprks, pretty light, pretty strong, easy to footjam, and look good, my only grumble is the porice tag on them.

in my opinion dont buy them. Mine bent in a week and snapped in 3 weeks. I was trying inwards and my scooter landed on its back wheel, like deck snapping position, and it somehow bent the fork. So do not recomend them, if you want quality i would go with tilt legacys or phoenix phorx/ wedge. And no Dom, i see a ton of people snap/ bend smxs, Everyone has them . and everyone breaks them. When i go to a park i see more people with snapping or snapped smx's and have to walk home. than people that have phoenix/ tilts and get to ride home becuase their shit forks didnt snap

I believe that the v3 vertx smx has a stronger forktube.
also, those kids could have lucky smx forks, which are much weaker.

Yeah Lucky SMX snap all the time. VertX SMX don't.

And i snapped my VertX v2 SMX forks after i wanna say 8 or 9 months. VertX shipped me a V3. They are AMAZING for grinds, i dont ride pegs on my forks anymore. They lasted longer than ANY fork I've used before, including Inward's stuff. I Honestly believe that they are one of the best forks. Get them

I just got a v3 smx two days ago and i can see why people say they are bad for smiths. when you go to do it, sometimes the fork hits the ledge before the deck, like haveing a small peg. i already got used to it though.
