Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 is simply amazing. But its a fuck load of money. But of corse theres ways to get around that. But you have to have a P4 and a good prossesser and at least 512RAM. If you have all that and have 1000 to blow on something you can get for free. Go for it.

good luck running it. youd have to run an emulator and thatd run super sketchy and youd need a shittt load of ram.

i dig the adobe programs but sony vegas 5 is a real nice program. it does everything all them other programs do and then some. check it out if you want to.
I hate to see people spend so much on softwere. 
Oh well, its your choise to buy. Your not gonna find anything to good with 300. Use Windows Movie Maker 2 until you get enough for something better I'd say.

id love premiere pro if my computer were a bit faster..i use premiere pro to capture clips and i used to to edit my winter clip video, and then i use movie maker to make it .wmv

Final cut has been know for editing big movies(I dont know what yet) Ill ask my teacher soon...
But yeah FCP is mac Only program.. i got into a huge argument with this faget in my class when he was trying to say that he got a PC version of fcp..
I said riteo put it in ur pc and install it. then we will talk tomorro.
He came to me the next day asking if i had any computers for sale!!

Putting a mac version program into a Pc format is like putting diesel in to un-leaded(It will fuck ur system up majorly)..

uhmz, i have version 9, its easy to upload and capture footy, but editing wise sucks, the slow mo looks horrible, not many effects, and i cant explain it but yeah still <3 pinnacle
