Vx2 pro bars wobbling/shaking

My buddy just got his VX2 Pro with the 2 piece bars. First off, the new MGP's are awesome! But the 2 piece bars are shaking alottt. Its not the headset or the triple clamp, it is THE CLAMP THAT HOLDS ON THE BARS, (where you can adjust the backsweep). The bolt is tightened to the max, and the bars shaky as hell left and right, but its fine forwards and back. Here is a picture to help:

The BLACK ARROWS are the way it is shaking, and the WHITE SPACES is where i believe the problem is: The clamp is not wide enough (leaving spaces that allow the red part of the bars to pivot left and right). If you know how to help out, let me know please!

maybe drill a hole then stick a bolt through it and tighten that up

Does the crossbar twist or does the whole bar set up move. if the crossbar twists tighten up the bolt by the white spaces. if the whole bar setup moves you need to tighten the headset

It's just the crossbar. And that bolt is very tight. That's why the crossbar doesn't move back and forth. It pivots around the bolt

use a shim? or get new bars

Try a shim!

Try a really thin piece of inner-tube and wrap it around the bars (the part inside the clamp).

if a shim doesnt work i guess he's gonna have to take it back... bummer. how long is the warranty on madd gears?
