i have sony vegas and a realy nice camra and when i upload videos to youtube the videos have wierd waves when there is movement... does anyone no how to get rid of the waves?

You probably need to de-interlace the footage.

Here is an example of interlaced and de-interlaced footage

I don't know how to do it in Vegas since i don't use it, but its probably somewhere in the export settings.

i could be wrong.. but if you go deeper into the export settings, and make it so tht the avi is progressive scan. idk, imovie may be different

Video that is progressive scan is already de-interlaced. You need to de-interlace the footage.
