You can get 4130 seasoned bars with powder coat and profesional welding for $60 posted within Australia and we are like the most overpriced country in the whole world. Wee's are over priced.

was just about to say that!! wee bars are probably making like 65 buks profit. seasoned are probably making like 15
Both of you should do a research before starting bitching at WEE.

Getting chomoly from across the Atlantic to Estonia, costs A LOT, which ends up paying 30$ per bar just for materials + sales & custom taxes. That's European Union for you. Welding isn't cheap either here, same goes to powdercoating.

PLUS, i've seen at least 5 bent Seasoned bars on SR. Cheap investment = cheap result. Right?

well 92+25 makes it around 130 shipped, not 92 shipped.

also for powdercoating? i honestly would prefer raw bars over painted bars so i dont really need to worry about the price of powdercoating

in my opinion i think it'd be much smarter to buy buffs rather than these bars IF you live in the united states. buffs are interchangeable so if you do bend your crossbar or something like that you can buy a new crossbar for CHEAP rather than a whole new pair of 130$ bars

it's just simple logic really
Buffs= 90.
Shipping 10-20, idn. 110 total.
New crossbar 20-25 + shipping. So grand total? 140+
And that's aluminium crossbar. Aluminium is softer (will bend/snap earlier).
So i'd go with one-piece chromoly, that doesn't bend.

One-time investment :)
No, if you buy smart from cheap places then it's like $15 tops for a brand new one, with like $4 dollar shipping.
For example, http://www.discountsteel.com/index.cfm/go/main.itemDisplay/itemID/90.htm 14 wide for $9.00, and shipping is like a few dollars. For US that is.

The bars are sick as hell, but indeed too expsive for the states. i wish madis was able to get the materials for less money, but sadly he cannot. therefore, i think you should all shut up about the price, because he puts an asston of work into Wee scooters.

buff for me were 94.72$ but now they raised so they are 104.72$...and u can change the crossbar and the steertube...and he uses such good aluminium that the crossbar will never snap...i dont care i would rather have either

I'm getting a pair of wee's after my bars shit. Seriously The only price thats unnecessary is the shipping. Chromoly is expensive to buy, cut, and weld.

Steel you can just throw a couple welds on and your set. But chromoly isnt just stainless steel, its steel and chromium adding a somewhat brittle feature to it (if you weld without treatment it cracks). So in order to weld, you need to heat the shit out of it and then weld which is a ton more work.

My bar experiance

30 for metal 10 dollar shipping
45 for welding
powdercoating is 80 dollars

put that together, thats more then wee's.
