Oh man, all my problems are solved now, except for the delayness, haha.

Our new welder did a test-bar for us and they look soooo good, better than ever before (pic later). Only downpoint is that he can make them at weekends and he lives a bit far, so all the bars should be made at next weekend (21st-23rd).

After powdercoating them and sending them out, WEE bars will most probably be available to order. So yea, keep your hopes up for April. :)

do you have tracking number for my fork. im pretty sure there not finished but do you have to go to ups to get the tracking number?
Please read the mails and PMs i have sent you, then read them again, again and again.
And when you are finished reading it, read it once more:

FORKS ARE NOT IN STOCK YET.
How can i send you a fork if they aren't in stock yet?
It is clearly impossible.

The tracking number will not be provided until the package has been sent at the post office.
And, the fork does NOT come with UPS, it arrives with USPS (US Postal Service) in the United States.

I lawled at that

* Some forks are in stock, but "the last 20" batch is not.

I'm even glad i had to find a new welder.

Here's a pic of one raw test-bar,

Welding aluminium is a "bit" diffirent than welding steel. Keep that in mind.

No it doesn't make it weaker, he grinds the unnecessary welding-stiches down.

Steel and aluminum are different processes and technique but the concept is the same: melt the two pieces of metal and bond them with a filler. The filler (wire or rod) is the strength of the weld so any sanding or grinding of that will make it weaker. Maybe not weak enough to make a difference if the bars are designed well but it still makes it weaker no matter what.

I have to agree with the statement that it generally does make it weaker, BUT that depends what are you welding and what is the design of it. If you are like welding a 90-degree corner into an L-shape piece, then more stiches is better, but there are specific points on bars where you can weld and grind down the unnecessary part.
