welding folding mech

lol snow i already did that but the foldy is warping now but oh well, i dont wanna get athoer scooter cause the only one availabe is a new a. so ill stick with my welded mech

cant do that. usually you might be able to get away with welding different alloys together if they are similar, but ferrous and non-ferrous metals are a complete no go.

you could fusion weld them or braze weld but they arent very strong

brazing wont hold up at all. and idk what you mean by fusion welding, all welds are made by fusing multiple pieces of a base material together.

It actually depends where u weld it... Don't do it on the lower, back part of the foldy. Weld it sideways with aluminium (CO3) and it will work just fine... Ofc if u have your own welding machine- otherwise it's a looot of money.
 
I had mine welded and it snapped within a week. i also broke my bars and had them welded and broke em again the rewelded em and bolted it and it still broke. welding is fine just stay away from it on a scooter.

Dunno... i welded mine (5 mm thick) two weeks ago... still works like a charm. As i said... just take care where u weld it.
