welding folding mech's

as you all know A's have the worst folding mech's for locking. i'm going to weld it all together. does anyone do this or is there something i should know about this not being a good idea?

nope, it's still gonna be narrow so it will still rip off from the deck. Get some thicker and wider steel plates on the deck, and in the deck.

i used to lock a folding mecks.... all you gotta do is put nuts on the inside of the meck as well as the outside... it couner acts the pressure on it... either way though... there shit.....

i used to ride new A with a welded mech and i do have to admit it was the most solid longest lasting scoot. when you weld the mech you nedd to bolt it into the deck with steel reinforcments in the hollow part and bolts going into the side of the deck going al the way through and its one beastly mother fucka just takes alot of time
