What are deck pins

im about to order a razor ultra pro and it gives me the option for deck pins??? What are they?????

i think they are like little ground down screws or bolts for grippage. they come up through the deck. i would stick with griptape from the pins iv seen--they all look pretty sketchy.

They are like pins on a bike pedal. If done right they are preferred by some people. I don't have much riding time on my deck with pins so I can't really comment on how I like them.

So grip pins ares like littles allen screw from home depot. I've seen them there. But they work good. If you do nose manuals, or hang 5s i advise you not you get them. I tried to do a hang 5 and I almosted killed myself. But other then that its good, and oh yah dont ride with holes in your shoes xD.

deck pins are amazing if u no how to do them right
but inward puts tomanyy
i have 4 on my deck (with griptape) and 2 on my break

It's true that it depends on how many you use. I have six on each side and they're spaced pretty far so that it doesn't feel weird to stand on, but it grips well. Another thing is that you don't want the pins sticking out super far cause that'll shred your shoes and will probably grip too well. With pins installed well they are better than griptape because they don't wear out and they grip better.

How did you possibly break drill bits drilling through aluminum plate?
