all of these aluminum welded one piece bars.... how do they weld the aluminum without it being shit? How is it done.... I thought aluminum gets mad weak or doesnt hold up well when welded

french id's are by far the lightest, rads are decent weight and i really enjoy mine, so id say get rads.

Wee bars are not the lightest but mid weight, 18 wide by 24 high are about 1040 grams

Haha, I've never even heard of 2024 aluminum, that's terrible.

Almost all aluminum is heat treatable with high strength, good machinability and fair corrosion resistance. It welds very poorly.
Have some sense.

Fixed that up for you.

Not all aluminum alloys are heat treatable such as alloys 5052 and 5086
Do your research ...
(even if it is put through the "heat treatment process", the properties will change and may be come to brittle or to bendable)
