Im gonna say its 3ccd, since the audio doesn't sound too crappy and more expensive cameras usually have better mics. If it is 3ccd, the colors are pretty beat in my opinion, need to change some settings.

Depends on the camera and the enviornment its being shot at. Good lighting, correct white balance and colors that are present that the camera is good at presenting could make a 1chip camera look like a 3chip. Note i said if it is 3ccd the colors are pretty beat, i wasn't really sure if it was or not, its pretty nice for a 1chip though.
