What headphones should I get?

Its my birthday soon, and I need some new headphones. I want them not ridiculously expensive and pretty durable, for riding. I have had skullcandy ink'd buds, some random german make I've never heard off (cresyn/gresyn?) and some John Lewis deep bass buds. All of them have had good sound quality, but they break so much.

By the way, I searched and couldn't find anything helpful, and didn't want to bump an old thread.

My skullcandy 50/50 headphones lasted and sounded really good, and the bose ones are nice too.

Also The 2011 g.i skullcandys are really good have good base there over ear and 40 or 50mm I forget, but ya I have some limited edition ones

get phillips SHE3590 they punch well above their weight for a $15 headphone, the bass is powerful but it doesn't drown out the other frequencies.

I might get both, those over ears look really good, but I want something that will last for riding and using in school as well - the in ears look a bit expensive.

How are sennheiser in ears?

For earbuds get klipsch $80 ones.... Not sure what they are called but they have sound quality that beats some 400 dollar headphones

I disagree with whip zone I had them and they lasted like six months, didn't even ride with them. the plastic and wires broke. How about skullcandy cassette? I've never had them but they look nice and are "athletic" so they should stay on your head better.Really cheap also.
