Honestly there is no specific scooter for a specific person. And there are different variables, there are custom builds and out of the box completes to choose from, some light some heavy and some in the middle, and of course different price ranges, even more, different sizes of certain parts and different styles of those, if you want a fairly decent complete that costs 300 and lightweight I would suggest this:

or if you want a complete that costs 300 and is a bit heavier for more strength go with something like this:

but there is no set point for a scooter whether it be a complete or built from the ground up, prices even vary between different places and websites, so I suggest not really looking into having people telling your friend what to get, but have your friend, think about the style of park riding he does, and how fast he progresses, how clean he lands tricks, and of course how much he weighs, even though the average complete goes for 220 pounds, the design of the whole complete or even certain parts on it make it vary between each person, so do some studying and check out the specs on certain parts and completes and if there is a certain part you are curious about, look it up to find reviews and such.

and the reason why I am not mentioning a "custom" build is because generally a custom build for a flat 300 is kind of hard to find most of the time

thanks for the help he is 5' 7" and 135 cant tail whip if that helps he wants a fuzion but i told him they are shit

alright so I would suggest not going with a custom build, it would just be better to start off with a complete, so might as well go with something light just so he could get a good feel for certain tricks, therefore I would suggest going with a complete like the district v4i

ok i will tell him he wont listen he wants a fuzion but they suck

not really, just need to know how to work them, i had the first fuzion elite that came with aluminum bars, and i loved everything about it, then about 4-5 months later the deck snapped, and i used the rest of the parts till they were dead, the fuzion would not be very good for certain riders, but great for entry level

district v4 feel nice but need to buy a new brake and wheels some kid at the skate park dehubbed them when he could barely whip.if u want a scooter that is a little heavy but good quality then the nitro eod or the new blunt kos are really good

District V4i Expecially if your small. I met an Aussie at my local who had it, suuuuper light. I could hit the hand rail no problem on it. But it is ICS so you need to take that into account.
