What is considered pro?

"A professional works to receive payment for an activity (as a profession), which usually requires expertise and carries with it socially significant mores and folkways. That is to say, behaving professionally would indicate that the person's actions remain in accordance with specific rules, written or unwritten, pertaining to behavior, dress, speech, etc. By extension, the adjective professional can indicate that someone has great expertise or skill in a craft or activity."
From Wikipedia

So basicly, like other people said, if you can make a living off riding scooters, your a pro. Alot of people tend to use pro for a synonm for "expert" though, im cool with that.

yeah brians the smart one.

I make a living off of bike riding and that is where my income comes from. So I can consider myself "pro". But I will go to a skatepark and sometimes every single kid will just show me up. If I entered a contest I wouldn't make it in pro class.

So I am pro. But I'm not pro. Depends on how much I feel like bragging...

I don't get paid by any sponsor. I ride stunt shows full time. I do shows for the average person. Most people in the world think a 360 table or a backflip is a huge trick. I do a ton of stuff that most people don't do. But I wouldn't make it in the "pro" world. I get to ride for a living because of my Christianity mostly....

You can join like extreme sport christain groups and stuff...

im on the Scooter Insanity scooter team..the only decent person on the team is matt ogle...so i think that just cuz your on a team doesn't mean your pro...but i also think that you don't have to make a living at it to be pro. i think you need a sponsor and you need to be good..if you get free junk for riding a scooter you are pro...or at least in my book
