what is the difference between turndown and a lookback

cuz everyone keeps asking me im not sure if im telling them the right thing i tried to search it but couldnt really find anything but one of them u push ur scooter out to the side and turn ur bars. The other one (im not sure if its a turndown or a lookback) a u just turn ur bars and point down what is that help me please.. pictures between the differences would help too if u had any

They're both essentially the same thing. You do the same movement, it just depends on which way you're spinning. If you turndown by kicking the deck out to the right, then if you spin left it will be a lookback and if you spin right it will be a turndown.

if your doing these on a quarter and airing out.... a look back will go over the coping and over the deck of the quarter.... a turndown will not go over it

umm it depends on the way you spin... lol and wat stammler is saying... but if its the way you spin... if you are regular and spin backside and do a turndown... you are doing a turndown... if you spin frontside you are doing a look back... same thing with goofy and ski... lol but if you are regular and spin your opposite way its flipped around :) hope you get wat i am saying

Doesn't cary do opposite turndowns/lookbacks? His look fucking sick though..


And yeah, AJ, no offence or anything, but those are xups.
