what is the hightest abec bearing ?

LOLLLLLL. ABEC ratings jump from 9 to 12 because of the sizing, ABEC 11 on 608 bearings is retarded =]. "Equivilent" is what it says not actually ABEC 11. ABEC rating was used to judge the quality of aircraft bearings. I've run ABEC 9s and the speed difference is nice but it honestly says nothing of the quality of materials etc. I've seen ABEC 12s in action and they're not pretty, because they're ghetto and generally don't last long. Get Bones Swiss if you want the fastest around but don't take heed of ABEC rating for nothing. Don't buy less than stock ABEC 5/7s though, spending money on your bearings is worth it =]. But don't buy something that says it's ABEC 11 Equiv. Because it's just not logical.

umm if you take a sec to read carefully, it said abec 11 EQUIVALENT, it's not an actual abec rating. They're just trying to make a point of how good they are

There is no ABEC rating higher than 9 because the scale only goes from 1-9. Anything higher than 9 is fake. ABEC ratings tell you how tight the tolerances are in the bearing. The higher the rating the more precise the bearing is and most of the time it will spin faster and longer than a bearing of a lower rating.

Sizing does not affect the ABEC rating. The ABEC rating is based on the tolerances of the bearing. ABEC actually stands for Annular Bearing Engineering Council :D

The ABEC rating does not affect the speed of your scooter, it is made for high RPM machinery to run more efficient. So unless your wheels are going at like 56,000 RPM it's not gonna matter

I got myself banned.
ABEC 9 IS THE HIGHEST RATING FOR A BEARING!

The highest rating ABEC you need for a scooter is 7, I personally wouldn't ride those.
