The tilt top cap design is stupid I don't know why they didn't just stick to a normal integrated starnut with a 6 mm head on the bolt.
And why they give you a razor axle that strips straight away.
Another thing I hate is when I buy bearings, install them, then 2 weeks later they sound like a peppercorn grinder.

tilt topcap works pretty good and its near impossible to strip the threads and it stays tight really good for me.
anyway depending on the deck im riding i hate when my shit comes loose

Find a heavy bearing grease for the headset bearings. Headsets will stay smooth if you use the right one. i don't clean my headsets out for literally years since i found the right one.

how my vertx wheels are chalk-like and flatspot quite easily (they draw lines) when a spin out of a front wheel is landed a bit sketchy, so i have to freak out not to slide

If you wrap the District brake so that its dialed, it doesn't fit in the deck. If it fits in the deck, its not wrapped enough to be dialed.
