What is the thickness of the tubing for bars?

I'm wondering what the exact thickness of chromoly tubing used for HIC bars and the inner and outer diameters aswell. If anyone could tell me that would be amazing. Thanks!!

34.9mm outer dia is common but inner can be debatable and can depend on the hic shim/fork tolerances once together.
31.8mm outer dia for the shim is correct size so inner for bars must give .2mm to fit easily. between 32mm and 32.2mm
that gives a wall thickness approx 1.4mm to 1.45mm, this should be mimimum wall thickness. cbf with imperial but can do if need be
id go for 35 outer 32 inner, give 1.5 wall thickness. not heavy but plenty if its a good grade material

I agree with Billie's post.

Usually people use 34.9mm (or 1 3/8") OD tubing for HIC bars (unless you make your own clamp; example - Phoenix iHIC bars with built-in double-clamp). The inner diameter of the HIC bars depends on the adapter you're gonna use or create for the HIC bars. And the needed thickness can be calculated once you know what OD's and ID's you have on the tubing. Using a calculator and some math skills you obtained at 5th grade you'll achieve the results you need.

If you are in the United States using imperial measurements, then you want 1.375" OD with a .058" wall thickness. Crossbar is a .875" OD, but wall thickness depends on what bars you have. Most use .065", but source I believe uses a .083".
