because its either like a cork 7 or a 360 front. if your counting it as a front you gotta take 360 out of the 720 to account for the "flip" (flip in quotes because its not usually straight over with spin flips). thats why 360 backfiips kinda look like weird 720s and people call them 720 flips, when really, its teh 360 degrees of the backflip that make it look like 720. in the case of coedies, you can see him do one 360 and one frontflip, the front is kinda off axis but still.
edit: like i said, a 720 flip either way would look more like a weird 1080, and would also be extremely hard to do or land, which is why bikers havnet done them yet =)

the problem is, there are kids who can see a video and still not see the difference, which is why people think 360 flips on bmx are 720 flips.

I think its more of a 720 fount, I paused it many times and say he is doing the rotation of a 720 while going upside down, and yeah I know exactly what your saying there
eh this is gunna be hard to explain..haha
um, it looks like 720 i think because when hes spun JUST a 180, hes like 1/3 or 1/2 done the frontflip, and his front wheel is facing forward again, tahts because of the half frontflip, not becuase of a 360, then if you keep watching he kind of tucks up and brings the front around during the last 180
