What reason do they give you for not allowing scooters?

i went to a park wit my mate and my mate is rubbish and kept snaking skaters and they told him to get lost and said about skate park not scooter park,but they didnt give me any crap,i think unless they block u out straight away u just gotta respect em.

They cannot legally ask you to leave a public skate park. If a cop gets upset it would be wise to leave, but don't let it get to that point.

Bring a copy of the Razor patent. Show that the proper term is folding skateboard.

With that shown, you could go to court if absolutely need be, and get away with it because there is NO legal grounds to not allow a "scooter" into a public "skatepark". Even if the sign says so.

However, at a private park, they can do what they want. Their word is law.

its either insurance or damage to the ramps. Scooters arent allowed at the temporary skatepark they put up in the holidays where i live. They say they damage the ramps, its ridiculous, its a public park so everybody should be allowed in on whatever. i get so pissed each holidays when i go down there to see if theyll let me in and all the kids on theyre shitty bmxs all say "scooters arent allowed" god damn

ITS BS. I mean come on, all skaters do is sit in the backround and smoke some weed, we r the actual ones who would benefit from the use of a park, i mean cmon, bikes destroy ramps, and we ride over it with a metal deck and get kicked out
