I just found a new editing program (nobody listed it above) and it's on my gramps' computer. Looks pretty good, mainly based on Windows Movie Maker and it's called... hang on I'm calling him now to ask what it is... Cyberlink PowerDirector Express... I think it works with all file formats. It came with his JVC hard-disc camera, so I'm not sure it will work with everything.

If you are getting the software for free over the internet than it doesn't really matter what other people think, cause you can just download all of them and see which one like the the most.

The only thing wrong with that is that chances are you will download other shit with them (i.e. Pop ups, spyware etc.)... That is unless you find a website which reccomends free movie ediors...
