whats up with the wide bars

Why do most of yall ride 18 or more wides? I love my 15 wides but if i want T bars with HIC Im going to have to go with Lucky's and they only come in 18w if you buy them painted?

I personally love shorter bars, dont hate

also im just going to address two things up front:
1. Dont call me a noob or some shit because i dont like wider bars, its a personal preference
2. Dont recommend i cut them down when I get them, I cant install a damn starnut into my bars, I cut open my finger while fitting my griptape... Im not the most techy/mechanicaly oriented person out there... actually im more retarded in that feild... lol

I ride 14 and I love it. Most kids on here are just trendy, they get what they see on videos. But you said don't hate for small bars, but then you go and ask why people use wide ones. You said don't hate cuz it's preference, it's the same for wide.

i may be being retarded but if you like 15w and the luckys are 18w , but you say you don't want to cut cos you don't want to put a starnut in ?

wouldn't the starnut only come into place if they were to tall and you cut down the hight and they came with star in ?

he is just using that as an example of how is is not good with working on scooters and if he went to cut the width down he would probably fuck something up, just like the griptape example...

but yh half the time big bars is fashion innit , same thing happened in bmx if you watch old vids there all like riding there bars at the bends ,

I can ride anything but 17 is most comfortable. I have built scoots with stock bars, going through 23 wide. it's just.. yeah. 17 is good for me.

Rob. I think it's cuz for SOME reason, 17w goes beautiful with mgp. I rode a stock MADD pro and it felt like it belonged together. Although I normally ride 20s. And exist. I have a couple of friends who still ride stock width out of preference.

A good amount of scooter riders like to ride bikes. I ride bikes and my bike bars are about 28 wide. If I tried to ride 14 wide bars after riding my bike I just would not be able to. Crows are great because it's like riding my bike.

i have bars 17 wide, then i went to 18 wide and that was nice, then i went to crowbars 22 wide and i love it. i also have 28 wide hic bars for screwing around on there so fun :p
