Alot of people don't ride Wide for "trend" i ride 24's because they help my riding style. i dont really do barspins or briflips or anything..

also some people ride wide because it fits there type of riding, or because there just a large rider overall and feel dumb riding small bars maybe.

I think riding wide is starting to become more trendy though,I feel like I see way more good riders riding 18+ wide now

also i just learned that my friends MGP has 17 wides (the guy rotty was talking about) and those feel great, so maybe 18s will work for me... Im just mind blown now, when I rode airplane18's scoot his were 18w and it just felt awkward, but 17 feels great, can one inch make that much of a difference?

yes, it does. I love 17, I'll probably ride it forever. I can't stand 16 or 18 but for some reason 17 is so perfect for me

i ride 16 rite now and thought it was the widest ill ever go but wen i get new bars they will b 18 W. it makes tee da hee's easier and gives more control in flow wen i boost faaaat airs over the same hipp all day long.

im not switching to 18W 2 follow a trend, i just rode sum1 elses 18W and LOVED it.

I've been riding 18w ever since baby slayer 1st gen's came out. Now I can't go any lower, but i can go higher. The wider feels more smoother in my opinion.

i had 21 and liked em accept sometimes when i did 180 bars it would catch my shirt so now i ride 19. but i went from stock to 17 and didnt like it at fist but after a day i wanted wider!

Inward scooters says to cut down the width of bars corresponding to the width of your shoulders

google "rule of thumb". your shoulders could be 15 inches wide, and you can easily ride 22 wide.

Its not that weird if you like stock width. I mean 12 is a little much but as long as your not actually riding totally stock bars.

cos i either do peg tricks or airs or flow under 20 feels stock thats the only bad part about going wider than most people
